Unfinished Stories – Moubani Sorcar

Unfinished Stories – Moubani Sorcar

My soul searches for you,
I never wanted to run,
Never ever for a bit of fun,
Ofcourse it was all true,
But like a reflection on the waters of the lake,
I understood it all while it was fake,
Thinking that it was feelings that run our body,
But it’s true that the surface is only on the top,
And even though it’s bigger than a drop,
The ocean of love was larger than the lake in depth,
And even if we wept,
Both our tears would not quench the thirst of what we should,
And that is why we did not when we could,
Become a story,
And there would be no worry,
Because that is what it is in the end.
Our ocean is only a bit from where the rainbow would bend.
